Leslie Helm – Executive Editor of Seattle Business Magazine

Leslie Helm is Executive Editor of Seattle Business magazine, which provides in-depth perspective on regional business and economic issues, and hosts a number of events including the Community Impact Awards. Helm has worked as correspondent for Business Week and the Los Angeles Times in Tokyo, Boston, Seoul and Seattle. He has an MA in Asian Studies from UC Berkeley and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University. He is author of Yokohama Yankee: My Family’s Five Generations as Outsiders in Japan.

 

Tammy Bernette Haygood – Founder of Impact Investment Group

Tammy Bernette Haygood is founder of the Impact Investment Group at UBS.  For 18 years, Tammy has made an impact on her clients through her work as a lawyer and financial advisor. Whether working with nonprofits to create a sustainable business model or managing the assets of individuals, corporations, or local foundations, she believes that sound business fundamentals and financial models create business and mission sustainability.  She believes that every investor should have the opportunity to choose investments consistent with their personal mission and passions.

 

Maxwell Drever – Drever Capital Management

Mr. Drever steers the helm of Drever Capital Management. For over five decades, he has been a visionary leader in contrarian impact real estate investing.  His passion for redeveloping under-performing, workforce, multifamily properties in a socially and environmentally conscious manner has provided the catalyst for transforming entire neighborhoods.  His former company, Drever Partners, with 18,000 units under management, was one of the earliest and largest buyers of multifamily housing during the RTC cycle.  

 

Clay Norrbom – Co-Founder & Managing Director of Global Infrastructure Asset Management

Clay Norrbom is Co-founder and Managing Director of Global Infrastructure Asset Management, an investment firm focused on sustainable infrastructure investing.  Prior to founding GIAM, he was a Director in Citigroup’s Global Banking group in both New York and London.  There he advised asset managers, investment funds, and insurance companies as a senior banker and credit officer.  Clay has an MALD from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  When first out of college, he served as one of the youngest elected mayors in Wisconsin.

 

Darcy B. Johnson – Co-Founder of Fulcrum Capital

Darcy, along with her business partner founded Fulcrum Capital in 2007 as a full service wealth management firm, catering to clients with a desire to match their investments with their passions. She serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and manages portfolios for clients.  Prior to Fulcrum, she helped start EverTrust Asset Management in Seattle.  Darcy started her career at SeaFirst Bank, managing the Employee Benefit client assets;  augmented by a few years at Mercer Investment Consulting where she focused on performance measurement and investment policy development.

 

Alex Lamb - Managing Director, Commonwealth Impact Partners

Throughout his career, Alex has focused on the integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact considerations into business value creation and risk mitigation. At Ernst & Young, (and previously as Vice President for North America at Trucost) Alex worked with corporations and investors on the integration of sustainability into core strategy across their operations, value chain and portfolios though sustainability benchmarking, materiality assessment, reporting and engagement, as well as the integration of ESG into private equity strategies and due diligence.
